Natalie Taylor Hart is a freelance Scenic Designer, Mask Maker and Assistant Professor of Performing Arts at Elon University in North Carolina. She moved to North Carolina after working in New York for several years in Theatre and in Event Design.

She studied Commedia dell'Arte mask making in Italy with Donato Sartori and has worked extensively in Props/Crafts. She also has strong interests in developing curriculum around her areas of expertise.
Natalie is happily married to Eric Hart, author of The Prop Building Guidebook, and is the mom to two wonderful little boys.
